An SLR-style Mode Dial allows you to call up any one of 12 different shooting modes. Two custom modes can be used to save and retrieve your favorite combination of settings. With incredible speed, Canon’s purpose-built DIGIC processor executes the complex algorithms required for accurate image rendering. The result is superb quality images, more accurate focusing and metering, longer battery life and fast start-up times. Like a built-in photographer’s assistant, iSAPS improves auto exposure, auto white balance and auto focus accuracy by monitoring settings and readings, and using these to interpret the shooting situation. When you need to be fast, the 9-point AiAF focuses quickly on your subject, even when it is off-center. For full control, FlexiZone AF/AE allows scrolling and selection of the auto focus point from across the frame. For total post-shoot control, the PowerShot G6 supports simultaneous JPEG and lossless RAW image recording for both flexibility and flawless ‘digital negatives’. ZoomBrowser (Windows) and ImageBrowser (Mac) help manage your work, while ArcSoft PhotoStudio provides extensive image editing and manipulation options. Your PowerShot G6 is fully PictBridge and Canon Direct Print compliant, allowing it to connect and print directly to any compatible photo printer.
