| I made a mistake with this purchase. The seller, Electro Brands, helped me out in a big way. They were most generous in dealing with me, and I hope to do business with them again. They are most customer-service oriented. I recommend this seller. |

After a small period of been using this item it started performing really bad. I contacted amazon and didn't hear from them and also contacted CANON and didn't fix the issue with the camera either.
Where is the warranty commitment from you guys (amazon) for customers? |

| Bought one for my wife, she loves it. Easy to use, good quality and the pics are top notch with good light. |
Excellent small camera

I bought this after I lost my first one on a trip.
The camera is very easy to use as a point and shoot. The image quality is excellent for a camera of this size. The extra features are nice, but there is a learning curve and you should read the manual that comes with the camera before trying to use the settings. The zoom is good and it takes reasonable pictures even in low light. You can set the ASA manually, you can turn off the flash, you can set it for various *kinds* of pictures although I mostly keep it on *kids and pets* since I am taking action shots of my grandchildren more than anything else.
It fits in a pocket or purse though I prefer to use a small camera bag.
My only problem with this particular camera is that the battery life is very poor compared to the battery life on the first one I had. Not sure if that is because of the battery itself or if the camera is using more power than normal. I bought extra batteries and switch them out when the first one goes dead and then recharge.
I purchased this one used and had to buy a new memory card for it as well. But those are not expensive really. |
worst digital point and shoot camera I've owned

| Bought this camera a yr ago and always had trouble getting clear shots. I thought I check other reviews for this camera to see if others experience the same frustration. I've had 4 other point and shoot cameras before this all cheaper and all producing much better picture quality. I didn't bother returning this early on because I never really used it myself even though I disliked the pictures I took with it. I bought this camera for my wife after buying the canon 5d for myself. It is just now after my wifes constant complaining about not being able to adjust settings to get better picture quality that i decide to play around with it. I was unable to do anything to improve the quality of the photos and just today I turned it on and got an error for the lens. I turn it off and on again and it start to smoke. I did a little more review reading and found someone who got the same lens error and is now unable to use his camera. I love canon but this camera just doesn't deliver. |
